Shayla He is an HMMA nominated singer-songwriter and a 2023 National YoungArts winner in Voice/Popular (Pop). She is currently a college student living in California.
She began to write her own songs when she turned ten, recording her 1st original song, “Jump to the Sky”.
She was also the 1st place winner at SF Bay Area NATS, Western Five States NATS, and Hal Leonard International Vocal Competition. In 2018, she appeared on China’s TV show “From Opinion to Future” Season 2, featuring 14 minutes of speech interspersed with singing, and the debut of her new song “Who Will Come?” highlighting the plight of homeless people.
She would go on to release multiple singles and her 1st album "Project A" themed Aspiration & Advocacy. New singles are coming up in 2025.
